This past weeks i have been working on the auvsi robot.  So far the battery compartments are done and they have also been anodized.  I now just need to make the washers for it.  We also got the frame for the auv and i have started to work on it.  It is mostly done and i only got some holes to drill.  after the frame is done it will be send to get anodized.

I have started to get into the hydrophones system a little more and started to contact frank and asked him for some help.  He got me on task for what i need to do and get finished.  I will start to work on it right away.  The freshmen are also doing pretty well.  They should get the robot done very soon.

This week I have worked with the freshmen on working with the robot.  They have learned a lot and have seen them start to step up working.  I also started to test the torpedo but i think it is finalized.

9/22/11

This Week I have been working on the torpedo.  We final got the final design for the torpedo and we are now just making more of them.  We shot the torpedo underwater and it fired a fair distance and very straight.  We are very satisfied with what we have accomplish with the torpedo.  After I am done with the torpedo I will get started on the dart doping mechanism.  I have thought of some ways to do the darts.

9/21/11 TOYPEDO'S!!!!!!

This week I have been working on the new torpedo version.  Let me just say we have cam a long way from the first one that we made.  I Will also get started on the darts for the dart doping mechanism.  I will try to make the a small but not to small dart.  One that we can at least write on.

This week Meraz and have have been working on the torpedo and on the dart drooping mechanism.  We have the drooping system finalized and we are working on get torpedo hole drilled properly.  I asked UCF how they did it and now I am waiting for their response.  As for the hydrophone system let just say it will be way harder than I expected.

This week I have been doing many things.  First I contacted the people from the electric cars and I am waiting for the response.  I also contacted the people from Cornell for some questions I had. For the torpedo we have gone a long way  Meraz and I have been experimentation and finally found the right torpedo.  We just got a toypedo and drilled a hole right through the middle of it we then got a 1/4 aluminum pipe and stuck it in toypedo hole.  It worked fabulously and I think we have divided to go with that design.
